A tip - if you're reading a series and going to write reviews - make sure not to wait until you've read multiple in the series to write the reviews or they'll really blend together. In a lit RPG series like this the reader's expectation is that the plot will be driven heavily but the character's progression through the game environment since that is already very structured with a clear concept of growth. Often the twists to this come from unlocking or revealing new aspects of the environment. This book does something slightly unexpected by creating a large change to the existing environment that we already understood and then working through the consequences of the change. It is an interesting approach and was an enjoyable read in the series.
